Thank YOU to everyone who participated in our Workout of Day (WOD) challenges.
We gave away 100+ free car wash certificates as participation prizes–talk about some good, clean FUN!


Workouts of the Day continue to be offered daily on the JCC Rockland app. They include video demos for beginners, intermediates, and pros.

WODs are a great way to kick-start your fitness regime or pump up your current routine. They can be done on their own or added to your current workout at home or in the Russin Fitness & Wellness Center.

Outdoor Group Fitness Classes

Fresh air+exercise with friends is just what we all need after a long winter.

Starting April 19, some classes will be outside. More will be added as the nicer weather continues. Stay-tuned to the JCC Rockland App for details and class locations.

Like other classes, you can reserve your spot on the JCC Rockland App.

Here are a few helpful tips before coming to an outdoor class:

  1. Masks are optional, when participants maintain 6-feet of social distancing.
  2. Please bring a filled water bottle. Bottle-fill stations are inside the Russin Fitness and Wellness Center. Masks are required inside the J.
  3. Member check-in for outdoor classes is at the reception desk in the main lobby (mask required). Members will be asked to swipe in, have temperature checks, and answer standard covid-related questions. Upon completion, members will be given a sticker so instructors can confirm all protocols have been followed.
  4. In the event of inclement weather, classes may be moved inside. Check with the receptionist to confirm.
  5. Please continue to bring your own mat and towel.

Enhanced Safety and Protocols

Enhanced Safety and Protocols

We have enhanced several safety and cleaning protocols. Please abide by these protocols so you do not put our staff in an uncomfortable position.

Mask, Physical Distance, and Other Reminders

Masks must be worn at all times while in the building, in all spaces. Masks need to cover your nose and mouth. No exceptions. Failure to wear a mask will lead to consequences, including a 2-week membership suspension.

Wipe-down equipment before and after use.

Wash your hands before and after your workout. Avoid touching your face.

If you are feeling sick, please stay home.

If you are quarantined for any reason, please stay home.

Please refer to ny.gov before returning to the J after travel to see the latest instruction on current protocols.

The app is your portal to 100s of workouts and classes–perfect for days when you can’t make it to the J – let a class or workout come to you!

Live Stream Classes

Live Stream Classes held in real-time, led by your favorite JCC instructors. Classes include pre- and post- class chats with instructors and your JCC friends. You can take these classes from your smartphone, tablet, or computer- in addition to casting to your smart TV.
All Live Stream classes will become available in the On Demand library shortly after airing. This means you can take any class in the library whenever you want!
