J LAND

Campers spend time outside in the sunshine playing sports, climbing on the playground, splashing in the pool and mastering the ropes course. Indoors, campers exercise their bodies with daily activities such as yoga and sports and their minds with art, cooking, nature and stories. Seasoned counselors take the time to discover what’s unique and special about every child and specialize in creating a meaningful camp experience for their group.

J-Land runs from June 27–August 19, 2021 for ages 18 months–entering Pre-K.

Hip, hip hooray for the USA!

Summer 2022 kicks off with a celebration of 246 years of The Stars and Stripes! Campers will partake in red, white, and blue themed projects, games, cooking activities, and so much more! Uncle Sam, the Statue of Liberty and a few surprise guests will join us for a day of laughs and fun! It’s going to be a “Party in the U.S.A”!

Week 2: 7/5–7/8 (no camp on 7/4)

Awesome Animal Adventures

The Animal Kingdom opens its gates this week, as we safari through activities centered on our favorite critters! An interactive wild—life show, ponies, our very popular petting zoo, arts & crafts projects, and more will surely bring excitement and joy to the faces of your camper! Jland Campers will participate in their annual Teddy Bear Picnic while Discover learns about the gifts of a therapy dog.

Week 3: 7/11–7/15

Crazy for colors

Bust out your colorful clothing this week, as we celebrate the colors of the rainbow! Each day will focus on a different color. Amazing art, cooking, and sports activities will showcase your camper’s favorite color! Maybe even our pools will even feature the color of the week!

Week 4: 7/18–7/22

Edible Engineering

Now that we’re halfway through the summer, it’s time to activate those taste buds, throw on an apron and chef hat, and show us what you’ve got! Campers will participate in our special “Super(hero) Chef” competition, learn new skills and cooking techniques, and of course, EAT their yummy creations!

Week 5: 7/25–7/29

The “MAGIC” of Camp

And with the wave of our wands…POOF! You are all now Magicians in Training! Join us for a week full of wonder and amazement, with workshops and entertainment that will bring smiles to all campers’ faces. Plus, what would week 5 be without Carnival Day?! Remember, magicians never reveal their secrets!

Week 6: 8/1–8/5

MOVIN’ AND GROOVIN’

“Hey now, you’re a rock star, put a show on, take the stage!” Get ready to sing, dance, and create music throughout the week, featuring a DJ dance party, karaoke, instruments and more. Your camper will unleash their inner musician and pretend like they are playing the most iconic venues in the world. Plus, there may even be a special surprise performance at the end of the week!

Week 7: 8/8–8/12

MYSTERY

Breakout? Fake Out? Order takeout? The week we’ve all been waiting for may or may not have arrived! Campers and counselors (may or may not) square off in friendly competition across all activity areas at camp, including the Apache Relay and the song and cheer contest. 1, 2, 3, 4 WE WANT ??? 5, 6, 7, 8 WE DON’T WANT TO WAIT!

Week 8: 8/15/–8/19

Camp Rewind

Our grand finale week of 2022 has campers reminiscing and reliving some of our favorites from Summer 22! We will create memory boxes and campers will leave their legacy as we say farewell to summer.
