The JCC Rockland is a safe and welcoming environment where everyone is entitled to feel that they belong, and where all members, program participants, volunteers, and staff are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
To help maintain this environment, we expect that everyone using our facility or participating in our programs is aware of and follows the important policies listed below.

The JCC reserves the right to remove from our facility or grounds any member, participant, or guest (without refund) for reasons including, but not limited to:
Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, and chewing tobacco are strictly prohibited inside the building and anywhere on JCC Rockland property.
Firearms, weapons, or replicas are not permitted in JCC Rockland facilities, except for on-duty security officers or law enforcement personnel.
Parking is available during operating hours for members and guests. Overnight parking or parking when the building is closed is prohibited. If you are experiencing vehicle issues, please see a Welcome Desk attendant.
While JCC Rockland makes every effort to remain open, certain situations may require the building or specific facilities to close unexpectedly. These may include:
In the event of a closure outside of our control, notifications will be posted on our website, app, social media, and through member text alerts.
The JCC Rockland may photograph or record individuals in our facility for use in marketing or communications, including on our website, social media, brochures, newsletters, and other publications.
You have the right to opt out of having your image used. To do so, please request and submit an Opt-Out Form from the Membership Office or Welcome Desk. If you do not opt out, your presence in the facility constitutes consent for inclusion in JCC Rockland media.
Flyers, posters, business cards, or any promotional materials may not be displayed, distributed, or posted anywhere in the building (including walls, doors, bulletin boards, or common areas) without prior approval from JCC Rockland management.
Unauthorized materials will be removed.
To respect the privacy of our community, videotaping or recording within JCC Rockland facilities is not permitted unless pre-approved by management. Any approved recording must avoid capturing other members without their consent.
For the safety and security of all who visit the J, JCC Rockland utilizes security cameras throughout the facility. These cameras are in place solely to help maintain a secure environment and are monitored in accordance with JCC Rockland’s safety protocols.
