Friday, November 7
Enjoy a docent-led tour exploring the diverse body of work of artist Rashid Johnson. This major solo exhibition highlights Johnson’s role as a scholar of art history, a mediator of Black popular culture, and as a creative force in contemporary art. Almost 90 works—from black-soap paintings and spray-painted text works to large-scale sculptures, film, and video—fill the museum’s rotunda. Bus departs from JCC Rockland at 9:00 am. After the tour, take time to further explore the museum, enjoy lunch on your own or stroll along Fifth Avenue. Bus departs from Guggenheim at 3:00 pm.

Enjoy a docent-led tour of a museum dedicated to the winningest player in baseball history. The permanent and rotating exhibitions tell the unique story of Yogi Berra, while exploring history, culture, science and society within the larger context of baseball and sports. The museum is located on the campus of Montclair State University. There will be time for lunch after exploring the museum. Price includes round trip bus, admission to museum and guided tour. Lunch is on your own. Bus departs from JCC Rockland at 11:15 am.
