Jennifer Tetefsky joined JCC Rockland in January 2026 as Manager of Community Access and Engagement, where she oversees front desk operations, access services, staff training and development, and community relations. She brings more than 15 years of experience working in healthcare and nonprofit organizations and is dedicated to creating welcoming, respectful, and inclusive experiences for all members and guests.

In her role, Jennifer leads professional development for front desk and access staff, including customer service excellence and conflict de-escalation strategies, and guides updates to departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating practices. She also supports communications efforts and helps build community partnerships that enhance and expand JCC programming.

My favorite part of working for the J is serving the community and helping people feel welcomed, supported, safe, and connected. Ensuring access to services in an equitable and inclusive way brings me joy.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Roger Williams University and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Rhode Island College, graduating with top honors from both institutions. Jennifer is nationally certified in Customer Service and in Conflict De-Escalation, having taught the national certification course and proctored the national certification exam to scores of individuals in the New York metro area. She is also an advanced-level certified Consumer Health Information Specialist and is currently training to become a plant-based nutrition coach. In her spare time, Jennifer spends time with her husband and large, extended family, and enjoys bragging about her son and stepdaughters to all who are willing to listen, while adjusting to life as an empty-nester.
