and you may get a glimpse of who Debbie Koenig was. Debbie’s passion and her desire to live life to its fullest are the flames that will continue to live on through the children and families who make up the Deborah Koenig Early Childhood Center.

The Koenig Family are pillars in the Jewish Community with a strong belief in Jewish education.

They have been philanthropic leaders of JCC Rockland for over 30 years.

They were very proud to dedicate the Deborah Koenig Early Childhood Center which opened 10 years ago with 18 children and has grown to over 100 children today.

They continue to invest in its growth over the years, and truly see this honor as a “family affair.” Ed and Ann z”l and their children David,Jeffrey & Elissa have enjoyed watching their own next generation, Brandon, Daniel, Rebecca, Kenneth, Daphne & Julie participate in many JCC programs over the years.

When the Koenig family think of Deborah z”l, their beloved daughter and sister, they Think of laughter, Think of children, Think of love. Deborah’s z”l passion and her desire to live life to its fullest are the flames that will continue to live on through the children and families who make up the Deborah Koenig Early Childhood Center. May her memory continue to serve as an inspiration and a blessing.

It’s the cutest thing sending Leon to school. He’ll start saying, “Beth Beth Beth!” And I go “You’re going to see Beth?” And he gets a big smile and says “Yes!”

For teachers appreciation week I just wanted to write to you and tell you what an asset Randi is to jcc. This was Savanah’s first daycare and I was nervous because all three days of her days were on days I was working. I have seen such a growth in my already amazing little human. Randi is a great disciplinarian while also being fun loving. I can tell Sav loves her in the way she talks about her. She has been wonderful, even when this year has not been so good to her. P.S. Alondra is great also!
