Join us for an inspiring luncheon with lively Israeli Dancing, Henna, a Tricky Tray with fabulous prizes, and learning.

Carol King, Adjunct History Professor and RJFS Social Worker, examines the historical and biblical context of Queen Vashti, illuminating how past power structures continue to shape women’s lives today.

Money raised will help support Mamatcal, an Israeli organization supporting the wives and families of reservists of the IDF. Together, let’s raise up bold women, resilience and community.

Thanks to Rockland Jewish Family Service for helping to support this event.

The Gallery Above at the J proudly presents the work of Paula Cantor, a bold woman whose art is rooted in identity, wonder, and connection. Drawing inspiration from her deep love of Israel and Jewish heritage, a profound bond with nature and the life around us, Cantor’s work feels both intimate and expansive. This showing offers just a glimpse— the tip of the creative iceberg—into a far more expansive body of work, inviting viewers to imagine the depth, breadth, and bold vision that continue to define her artistic journey.

A longtime leader in the Jewish women’s movement, Paula has spent decades shaping community life through board leadership, advocacy, and service. Paula presently serves on the board of the JCC of Northern New Jersey.

Paula Cantor’s work will be featured throughout the month of March.
