Rachel Appell serves as the Director of Children & Teen Programs at JCC Rockland, where she oversees a variety of engaging and impactful programs for children in Grades K-12. During the summer, Rachel serves as the Director of the J-Teens and J-Tweens travel camps.
My favorite part of my job is working with my fellow staff and the children that I get to engage with daily.
A graduate of the prestigious Merrin Teen Professional Fellowship through the JCC Association of North America, Rachel is passionate about creating impactful programming for youth and teens. In her free time, she enjoys live music, exploring audiobooks, and spending quality time with her beloved cats.
