Discover is our “traditional” summer camp program which features a variety of activities including daily instructional and recreational swim, sports, Arts & Crafts, cooking, music, ropes course, science, nature, and more.

Returning Campers New Campers 2025 Rate SheetOur lifeguards and specialists are certified professionals who are able to differentiate their instruction for all levels and abilities. Campers are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone as they challenge themselves to try new things and improve their skills.
Our activities and programs are created with thoughtfulness and intention to promote skill building, guided risk taking, teamwork, friendship, and fun. In addition to our daily schedule, campers will participate in special events, late nights, and special dress-up days related to our exciting weekly themes.

Your Discover Junior camper will engage in all the fun activities and special events enjoyed by our Discover campers, but in an environment more developmentally appropriate for their age and level. Nurturing and attentive counselors will help to foster independence, resilience, self-esteem, self-respect, and kindness in our Discover Junior campers.
Summer 2025 starts by celebrating new friends & our beautiful country! Campers will enjoy our annual Red, White, & Blue Day parade featuring Uncle Sam, the Statue of Liberty, Ben Franklin and many more guests! Groups will play patriotic bingo, create amazing all-American crafts and make fun and tasty American treats! It is sure to be a party in the USA!
We are making a splash this week with all things water! Our youngest campers will get to frolic and dance in the bubbles provided by the very popular Bubble Bus! Discover’s older campers will participate in an amazing game of water tag! All will celebrate Hawaiian Day with a Lei & Lemonade DJ Pool Party! The week will be capped off with our famous Banner Day Parade. The week is going to be wet & wild!
Camp is a great place to get messy, and we are going to live up to that this week for sure! Playing paintball, making messy art projects, and dressing up in your best tie dye will add to the fun! The week will be full of camp classics, including our Watermelon Fiestaville & Color Run (which is the messiest activity of all!)
Sugar, spice, & everything nice! It's a really Sweet Week at camp! Enjoy all things sweet, like our Sundae Funday Ice Cream Bar & our Candy Camp Carnival! Edible Art will feature a lesson in making candy sushi .. Our fifth grade campers will get a taste of our J-Tweens program on a field trip and we will host Kindergarten Open House. This week will be a treat!
Start spreading the news, we’re celebrating New York this week! We will be visited by some classic New York characters and campers and staff will dress up to show off their New York pride! New York Name That Tune is sure to be a challenge (start brushing up on the New York classics)! Of course, we will try to Break a “New York” Camp Record! The Big Apple better watch out!
Follow Rocky’s footsteps around camp on a fun scavenger hunt! Campers will try to find all items on the list if they pay attention and follow the clues! The return of the Golden Shovel competition will award a group in each grade a golden shovel! Who will it be? Rocky & Chip are sure to have some tricks up their sleeves…
We are bringing all the fun of the football season to camp! Our campers will have the opportunity to participate in a Kick, Pass, and Punt program that will try their kicking and throwing skills. Flag football games, a first ever Staff HalfTime Show and super tailgate snacks will add to the week’s fun! Campers will definitely score a touchdown or two!
Camp is all about play, and this week we are playing our music nonstop! We will blast our tunes at Club JCC and learn how to play bongos with our friends from Path to Rhythm. Campers will enjoy their favorite Karaoke Day and of course will end the week by making a Memory Box. We will end the summer with our emotional Closing Ceremony, which of course, doesn’t leave a dry eye at camp.
