A Good Addiction

During this time of year many of us are looking ahead, seeking out new ways to improve our health and setting resolutions for the “New Year.”

Working in the fitness industry for a long time, I see this trend every year and receive many questions on what to do and where to begin. 

In helping others make new healthy routines a part of their life, the most important element is to integrate it into your daily routine. Block out time for exercise that fits into your schedule that you can commit to continuously, with a set plan: For example, a regular aerobics or toning class, 30 minutes on the treadmill or bike, or a daily walk outside.

The critical piece is to create a habit, something your body will become accustomed to and crave. It’s a good addiction to have! 

It is also very important to shake up your routine so you don’t get bored. We have a few special events coming up, that can help you along the way and keep you motivated:
